Benefits of HubSpot


Have you ever wondered how you can further your business education for free? HubSpot Academy is a tool that offers free courses and comprehensive certifications. Here you can learn everything you need to know about the most sought-after business skills.


As a UT student, you may have professors that require you to complete HubSpot Academy certifications. Professor Gary Beemer highly encourages all of his students to look deeply into HubSpot’s professional applications. When asked why he has such a high appreciation for this tool, he had this to say: “Digital marketing has lots of moving parts and can be difficult to manage. Content Management Systems (CMS) like market leading HubSpot allow marketers to plan and execute search, email and social media and other campaigns within one platform. This year AMA UT partnered with HubSpot, which resulted in full access to their Enterprise Version that is used by professional agencies at a cost of several thousand dollars a month. Our HubSpot team members train on HubSpot and can become software certified, which can greatly increase their value in the digital marketing field. We use HubSpot to run our collective digital campaigns and have had great success in doing so.” 

HubSpot offers courses in marketing, sales, services and many many more. Some of these are simply just to educate users, such as “Building Your Business as a Black Entrepreneur” or “Developing Exceptional Customer Support.” Others are certifications that can grow your career and your business. Some examples of these certifications include “Inbound Sales,” “Social Media Marketing,” and “Digital Advertising.” These are incredibly helpful certifications that you can add to your LinkedIn profile to show employers that you continue your education, even outside of school. 


At AMA UT, we have roles that specifically specialize in the use of HubSpot. Our Director of HubSpot is Tricia Jean-Louis. Her role consists of regularly updating AMA’s contact database, organizing those contacts into segments for email marketing, linking all of AMA’s social media platforms to HubSpot for easier management, and improving the website’s layout and SEO through the use of HubSpot’s content management system (CMS).
